Oh Wow You Wore That?

Hey!

So guys, I know I said I was going to keep on doing interviews, but I had to think of where I exactly I wanted to file this.

When I did my interview with Raindrops Boutique, I did some research, and I found a website. Typical Tami behavior, I went on it, to see what I could see. But  I was immediately awed by the epic background and the cool colours. And the name.

Oh Wow You Wore That?

I mean, I hear that phrase all the time, whether we are talking about boots or hair ties, or a really ugly beanie, or a foundation that wasn't your colour. I mean, it is a bit obvious when half of our face isn't the same colour of your face.

SO I did an interview with Jack Harding, the owner and writer of

Oh Wow You Wore That?

And now you can see exactly what can happen in a amazing titled blog that teaches us the functions of fashion.

1) How does it feel, going to runways shows and talking to those designers?

Runway shows are always a pleasure to go to. It's always really interesting to get to see the designer's vision come down the catwalk, and it is intriguing to see how they wanted to represent their vision outside of the clothing with their music choices, model choices, etc...

Talking to the designers is always fun as well. Learning about their past, what inspires them, and what they aim to accomplish is always inspiring.

2) What gave you the idea to create Oh Wow you Wore that? Was it a really badly dressed person walking down the street?

Oh Wow You Wore That started as a joke. I had wanted to do what the sartorialist did, but with bad fashion. I started it as a tumblr, it got relatively popular, and next thing you know, I turned it into a real site, with proper fashion editorials, and it became a site that people started to come to, read, and trust. I am really happy that my readers have stood behind me.

3) Now, you say you got to go to the grand opening of Raindrops. I recently interviewed them. Do you go to parties like that all the time?

I wouldn't say I go to parties like that all of the time, but there are definitely perks that come along with being in the industry and being a member of the media. However, it is not all fun and games. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes that people tend to forget.

4) You probably have a lot of confidence. Would you be able to give fashion advice to anyone on the street?

I secretly make comments to myself about outfits I see on the street anyways, so if people wanted my advice I would be more than happy to ha ha.

5) Now, the people of my generation usually don't take the time to read websites. How do you draw people in?

I don't know if I would say that people don't take the time to read websites. I think websites are really where most people go to get their information. By attracting users through different social media platforms, having engaging content, and always being original, I find that readers typically come to me.
