About Tami

I am a 15 year old from the frosty north-Canada. Actually, it's pretty warm up here because of global warming, but we are known for that, so i'll work with it.

And moose's, which I have never seen, and igloos.Or polar bears. Though we have a lot of squirrels. 

I started blogging in 2010 and I only did 2 posts on a blog called For Kids 0nly. The blog kicked me off, and I decided that I loved blogging. Rookie Hipster was the first blog I ever took seriously, and I decided that it could be about anything the average teenage girl can have on her mind. I could never seem to find a website that talked about everything that I have on my mind, or anything that I might feel strongly about. There was only YouTube to satisfy me , and sometimes I need to have my computer on silent because I am supposed to be doing homework. 

Because I was new at this, I decided I would call it Rookie Hipster, because hipster can mean anything really. You can change the meaning to fit you.


I love fashion and makeup, and I absolutely love music. I listen to music all the time, and I sing and dance in front of people, surprisingly. In fact, I sing so much at home that my mom made a rule that you can't sing in the house. I mostly ignore it.

I go to high school, which is a fun and amazing experience, which I am sure to talk about in the blog posts to come. I am, of course, in the ninth grade, and in Glee,  Cross Country and  Swim Team.

I have a ridiculous yet awesome sister named Sophia who occasionally takes over my blog to write about her love of Cameron Boyce. She may act like we're the same age, but she's only 13. And she's taller{sigh} She sings too, except she does art and can't dance. But she's an amazing drama queen. Just tell her their a spider behind her, and see the hilarity ensue. 


 Other than Sophia, I write all my blog posts by myself {because i'm just that smart[no , im not]} and I also design the layout. However, I occasionally get bored of it, and I'm sure you do too, so please, don't hesitate if you find a great template.
